Well I reckon Practical Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun could be
mega audience pullers for which ever commercial station
gets in on the act first. I know it's shown in the US but
the European market must be vast for one of the Sky
channels and it dosen't stike me as being something that
would need massive investment to get underway either.
For rifle and shotgun all you need is a biggish piece of
land, surely a short lease isn't beyond the means of Sky
Sports, and the Pistol events could possibly be shot
indoors given the right building (old warehouse?).
Seeing Pistol events being shot safely by normal people
would do a great deal to remove all the ingrained
prejudice amoungst the general public and go a long way
towards getting it back here.

Well if they can put baseball on Channel 5 in the middle
of the night, I don't see why they can't put shooting on!
