I had a look at this sculpture yesterday and could see no mention of
John Lennon, although I did not check all four sides of the plinth. It
is indeed labelled Non Violence and is attributed to Reutersward.
Another brass plate says that it was donated by a UK body dedicated to
non-violence, I cannot remember the exact name. It does not appear to be
a permanent exhibit.

It is enclosed by a substantial barrier with a padded top rail,
presumably so you do not hurt yourself if you hop over for a closer look
<G>. Still, it makes a comfy rest to lean on as you gaze up in
admiration at that great exponent of violence, Viscount H. Nelson. Glad
to see he still has the best spot.

Obviously it's by the same guy who did the UN exhibit.  I suggest
we buy it and stick it on top of SAGB HQ or something.
