As to what UK police have - they're issued with exactly the same H&K baton gun & ammunition as the army - this launcher (essentially H&K's 40mm MZP with a 38mm barrel) replaced the horrid old L67A1. Police have no option in this matter - the UK MOD & Home Office co-operate on baton gun policy.
