The standard test of 'lethality' is a separate and additional recommendation
to that of the standard method of determining power levels in aiguns by the
use of a standard projectile for the chronograph test  The latter is
something that airgunners have been campaigning for  since it removes the
danger of the police using something like a solid cylindrical projectile and
then informing you that your gun is 'capable' of more than 12 ft lbs.
Given the previously reported comments on the definition of 'lethal' in a
legal context, it is exactly that which worries me since just about anything
that fires a missile could be defined as 'lethal' and subjected to controls.
