Yes, they have.
I was in Bejing at a conference in 1986 and we went to an army
base as part of the 'entertainment'
It wasn't expensive, but we only got to shoot AK47's (OK type
56 for the purists :-) Tokarev pistols (type 51 :) and 1 round
from an RPG7! (VGB!)

They have these holidays in Vietnam as well, a guy at our club
went to Vietnam, I think the range is near Cu Chi, and you get
to shoot Type 56s, M16A1s, M60s and so on. He said the ammo
was quite expensive though.
