bonsoir, je me permets de reposer ma question, car elle n'a pas inspire grand monde.... je suis en W2k pro fr et j'aimerais installer Win XP pro Eng sur un HD different (multiboot). Je demarre l'install et a un certain moment ca coince => " An error has been encountered....etc", j'ai verifie winXP semble partiellement installe a la bonne place. note: le Cd est un original tout neuf que je viens de recevoir. j'ajouterai que j'ai repete l'operation +eurs fois a partir du CD ou du HD c'est pareil "An error...." ci dessous l'extrait du log: --------------------- 04/11/2002 02:45:03,d:\xpclient\base\ntsetup\syssetup\log.c,133,,One of the components that Windows needs to continue setup could not be installed.
