Five of us braved the wind yesterday Doc, Nick, Tim and David C.
Very windy, when Tim pulls at 12-14 that is hurricane force winds.
I had front tire problems and was using the wheel from my fixed gear, so many spokes
it is like a solid wheel in that kind of wind.  At one point I could hear the wind
whistling trought the maze of spokes.
Tim got the sprint points with a 41 mph effort on a tailwind downhill on
hwy 97.  Half way down  Old Smithfield Rd, Nick took an alternate route
and was not seen again, rumor has it he landed in Kansas.
