In order to receive the badge, the scouts must show that they profecient in several areas concerning bicycle maintenance, highway safety and riding. We will be completing either a 5 or 10 mile ride in the morning and afternoon sessions. Are any of guys and gals interested in volunteering to tag along on the rides for support of the young riders? They will be on a variety of bikes with a broad spectrum of ability. Some will zip right through the ride while others will struggle to complete it. I need several volunteers to cover the "peloton" so to speak. My goal is to keep all the riders together and have us followed by sag wagon. The group will start and finish at Barton College.
