Shortcut? We worked to hard to pass up that tailwind ride down Hwy.
97. A rare opportunity to ride like Cavendish. We even out rode the flying
monkeys!

cut off on graham brantley rd to get us out of the wind. no takers.
got to old bailey and was going left to hook back up at the cross roads. a
pack of loose dogs said "no way" so went right on old bailey. oops. bridge is
out. literally. this road will be shut down for some time. eventually got
home, but did see a girl, little dog, scarecrow, tin man and lion on the way.

Five of us braved the wind yesterday Doc, Nick, Tim and David C.

Very windy, when Tim pulls at 12-14 that is hurricane force winds.

I had front tire problems and was using the wheel from my fixed gear,
so many spokes

it is like a solid wheel in that kind of wind. At one point I could
hear the wind

whistling trought the maze of spokes.

Tim got the sprint points with a 41 mph effort on a tailwind downhill
on

hwy 97. Half way down Old Smithfield Rd , Nick took an alternate
route

and was not seen again, rumor has it he landed in Kansas .
