Bicycle principles - 1. Bicycles have 2 wheels and are inherently unstable
2. Balance is critical
3. A degree of coordination is
necessary
4. Sufficient distance exists from the
upright bicycle to the ground to cause harm.
The COWS are indebted to Dr. Prafka for an outstanding demonstration of
these principles. This type of demonstration should be attempted only by a
professional and not an amateur rider. We were very impressed, and are
grateful that only relatively minor injuries were sustained to rider and
