One day you guys are gonna stop letting me plan the routes. I always
error on the plus side and today was no exception. The 120 mile ride
ended up being 129 miles. Thanks to Surf Dude for helping out on the
first 50 mile loop around Whitakers from Nashville. The second loop
didn't go as planned. The plan was Nashville, Elm City, Town Creek,
Pinetops, Old Sparta, and Sharpsburg back to Nashville. Somehow we
threw Tarboro into the mix and added 9 more miles. I guess it was a
good day for wrong turns. Weather was perfect with light winds. KP
gets her first 200K bike ride! YooHoo!!!

The more the merrier! I'm also happy to do either loop first. kp

I'll let KP (who is in training) respond as I'm just along for the ride.

I have no objection with doing the 50 mile loop first if that helps.

if I show (if nothing pops up)

for the 70 mile loop

would that slow you guys down too much?

be honest, as I do not want to

mess up your training.

There are easier ways to kill me. The buzzards are already circling my

do only 2 loops instead of three. Too many opportunities to quit. We
could take a 70 mile southeast route to Sharpsburg , Town Creek, Old
Sparta, Pinetops and Elm City , then do the 50 mile northeast route to
Whitakers. We can always shorten the Whitakers route if things aren't
going well. I'm hoping someone will join us at least for the first loop
as it would increase my chance for survival.

Hey Tim,

Meet at your office in Nashville at 8:15? We can do a N. loop of 50
(Whitakers), a S. loop of 50 (your choice), and 20 somewhere. Does that
work for you? I'm open for suggestions if not.
