David: I'm probably the only SRAM user in the group. I have a mix of Rival and Force components. They work and look great but down shifting is different than Shimano using the double tap, and it takes getting use to. They do a better job at hiding cables than Shimano. The top 3 bikes in the Tour De France all had SRAM components. There are other minor ups and downs but so far I have no regrets.
