David and I finished strong. Except for an overpass, I don't think the needle
dropped below 21. 22 - 25. Did you guys notice that it didn't seem there was a
constant tailwind on the way back in? David and I chatted that it seemed to be
coming from all around. I guess that was the "variable" winds for yesterday.

Subject: [COWs] weekend ride report

Two days of great riding.
Sat, Kim, David C, Josh, Dan, Jeff, Steve T and I did the pootato hill,
Nashville ride.
Jeff, Dan and I bailed at 40 miles the others after wandering around Wilsop/
Edgecombe counyties
ended up with 56. Faulty GPS (group navaigation system).
If Dan tells you he is tired look out, really hammered.

Sunday, Ronnie, Jeff, Kim, David C and I welcomed Wally and David Santiago.
did the 40 mile whir-li-gig ride, enjoyable ride, David C was under a time
comstraint so he and Ronnie
went solo at the 20 mile mark.
Haven't heard from Tim Lucas, hopefully he is not still ridiong around
Charlotte.
today will be a good day for riding for those who are free.
Jim
