They put a lot of pro teams in kits and the quality of their shorts to me is very good.They normally last me up to 2 ears if taken care of properly. In general you get what you pay for and Continentals are no exception. It seems that if you are riding enough miles to simply "wear out" bicycle tires rather than have to replace them due to some kind of damage from the road or an accident you are truly riding some miles. The heavier weight material last longer no matter which brand you use but the lighter weight material shorts breath better during warmer months. I haven't had issues with any brand. Tires on the other hand have drastically different life spans. I think the most durable longest lasting is the Continental Grand Prix 4000's.
