Tim did a great report, it was a great ride, beautiful scenery, cool temps. We should have a large group next year. If you decide to ride within yourself and enjoy the mountains you will have no toruble except for the "snake' just about half the riders had to walk at some point. Saw one of the most inpressive efforts I have ever seen on a bike, as we were climbing the first 8 mile climb, a young guy passed me, his left hand on the hoods, what was left of his right hand on a aero bar pad, and two artifical legs clipped into his pedals. There is no limit to what the human body and mind are capable of. Got back Sunday 1:00, made the 2:00 ride, Chris, Jason, Allen Jenkins, and new rider Jarred. I did 22 miles, broke off from the group at Pearson's Peak, the others went on. Good recovery ride. Jim
