Anyone ever ridden the Colonial Parkway? I tried it solo yesterday and had a really good time. Parked at the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center where I changed into my very hot black jersey. Rode towards Yorktown via the Parkway which is about 28 miles there and back. The road was very nice even with the river rock surface. Lots of shade from the overlapping trees and old bridge underpasses, and a few miles of waterfront riding. Took a nice break at the Ben & Jerrys in Yorktown along the waterfront before turning back.
