BE PREDICTABLE

"The etiquette of cycling can be complex, but most of the lessons can be simplified into one rule: be smooth. Never perform an erratic maneuver. For instance, if a line of riders begins passing you, don't get excited and immediately swing over to try to join it. Instead, quickly glance back before you move to make sure you aren't riding into someone. Likewise, if you miss a turn, don't stop suddenly. Instead, slow your pace, let the group know you are stopping, pull into a safe turn around area, and let everyone group up before rerouting. Erratic maneuvers can quickly lead to smashed up bikes, broken bones, or worse. If something does go pear shaped out there, get off the road as quickly as possible and help others do the same."

Be safe out there.

"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." Will Durant, The Story of Philosophy

"The Bible is very easy to understand. But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers. We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand, we are obliged to act accordingly.” --Søren Kierkegaard
