Oh this is getting old! What a great day and I couldn't resist another 200K when John o. threw it at me on Friday. We also desperately needed another practice ride for next weeks highly anticipated 600K. Sic! 28 degrees at the start this morning but no wind. John o., John M. from the Raleigh area and I head out from Benson. Beautiful morn. and we wasted no time getting down the road as we're taking advantage of going south before the winds kick up. The last 20 miles to Tarheel we had to face those winds but then we enjoyed 65 miles of tailwinds coming home plus we ditched all our winter gear. Doesn't get any better than that! Another 126 miles in the books!
