What a great ride on Saturday! Wasn't sure what to expect for my first group ride, but it was awesome! I was so impressed with the COWs -- what a considerate, helpful and FUN group!! Got tired the last 5 miles but when this group says "no drops" they mean it....a BIG thanks to Jim and ?? for riding back with me. My favorite quote of the day was from Jim...we had been quietly riding side-by-side coming down the home stretch on Nash and he said "Linda, you're doing great. Especially considering that hunk of junk you've pulled along these 23 miles". Sure made me feel better :) Needless to say, I test rode a new Fuji yesterday and thought I was flying!! A new bike is definitely in my near future.... Kim and Dana any pointers about what to look for in a women's bike? And Dana anytime you want to get to the pool let me know -- [email protected]. If anyone else is out there reading these posts and is hesitant about coming out for a ride....hesitate no more!! If you want a slower/shorter ride, just post it and we'll all jump in.
