To all the volunteers for the Bike Rodeo, Looks like there is a possibility of rain on Saturday. The Bike/Ped Board, City Planning and Parks/Rec have a plan in place as far as watching the weather and letting you know what will be going on.
As it stands right now, if it rains all night or is raining during the time scheduled for setup the Rodeo will have to be cancelled. Denise (from City Planning) and Dale (from Parks/Rec) have been in close contact discussing this whole issue. Dale will be out at the parking lot at 6:30 am to check the area and let us know the conditions. Since I don't have all of your phone numbers, please check this forum for an update before coming out to Gillette. Also, Denise is looking into a phone number from Dale that we could call to get an up to the minute update on the conditions and if the event is cancelled. Once I have that, I will pass it on to you. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best! This is a great event and a lot of fun for not only the kids but those putting it on! Let me know if you have any question.
