Subject: [COWs] Annual Accident Report

Good Afternoon:

Well, I hope this is not an annual occurrence. Kim already told you what
happened; bike pileup. And yes,I did a face plant on the road. (I think I
needed a Mercedes to cushion the blow.) My face looks and feels pretty bad.
When I hit I apparently "bit" my lip. But 40 stitches later it is back
together again. My chin is very swollen. I look like a cross between a duck
and a baboon. LOL! I also hit my throat and cannot talk above a grunt or
whisper and can't take a deep breath through my mouth. (So phone calls are
kinda out of the question right now.) I have half of about three front teeth
as best I can tell. (Winslow, I'll be back.) If you're not getting the picture
yet, I will not be in any beauty pageants anytime soon. However, the plastic
surgeon (I was sent to Pitt to see him - thank you Carteret Craven hospital)
said it all will heal nicely, that I would look like Angelina Joli for a few
days (Ha! Not!). He then slipped Billy his card.
Hmmmmmmmmmm. I have no recollection of the events following the impact with
the road and arriving at the hospital. So, Kim, if I said anything
embarrassing on the ambulance ride, don't tell anyone. However, if I was
particularly funny, do share. :)

Thank you all for the well wishes. Thank you Kim for passing the word to the
Cows. Everyone stay safe out there. Kim I hope you are healing well. Amy, I
hear you are OK and for that I am very thankful. Take care ladies. Enjoyed
the ride - 'til then. :0

kp

I'll start the bidding for my picture at $.05. (Need to pay some more medical
bills. Deductible probably just started over.) Ha!
