Saw a solo rider on Lamm Road during my run this morning around 7:20. I
assume he was part of your group (Ken?) Good to see a fellow rider this
morning!!

Subject: [COWs] Daybreak

This mornings Daybreak ride saw NY Jon, Ken, The Kaiser and LR roll out
of OSB a bit after 6:15. We were looking for DC but the sleep gremlins
must have gotten him. Group rolled out Nash St to Hornes Church at a
spirited pace. LR slows at the I-95 overpass and "drops the group off
the front". The Kaiser slows a bit later to be sure LR is in good shape
and then rolls on. LR turns solo onto Williams seeking some relief and
then on to Old Smithfield excepting to be caught by the faster trio at
any moment but alas it is not to be. After slowing, yes even more, to
see if the group was catching up, LR rolls on in 97, Sugar Hill,
Thompson Chapel and 58. A cloudy yet cooler morning but still a great
way to start the day.

Apparently the trio turned left off of Hornes Church on to Old
Smithfield rather than right and did the Friday, Countryside, Lamm ride.
Hope everyone got back ok and in plenty of time. I am out the next few
days. Need to alter the early morning activities a bit and rest up for
the Labor Day Doughnut Ride!

LR
