P L E A S E! We need at least 6 volunteers to help with a bike rodeo this Saturday, October 1, 2011 for kids ages 5 to 12. The event will be held from 9 until 11 am at the Burt Gillette Soccer complex east of Toisnot lake. Volunteers will need to be there around 7:15 am to set up the rodeo area. There will also need to be at least one volunteer at each of 11 stations where skill events will take place for the kids. You can bring your own kids to ride in the rodeo if you like, but you'll need to bring their bike and helmet. Don's bicycle shop representatives will be there and inspect each bike and will make adjustments to kids bikes and pump up the tires if necessary. This event was planned to be held last spring, but it has been rained out three times and some of the previous volunteers have now made other plans so we are a little shorthanded and hope that you will help us out. This event is sponsored by Wilson's Bicycle and Pedestrian Board. If you can help, please let me know.
