A good herd of COWS, Doc, Bob L, Ronnie, Little Wally, husband Steve T, Steve
B, and me.
We covered the entire field from the lead to the lantern rouge.
Ronnie led the group out, ride split into groups a large lead group and Bob L,
Doc, Steve B, Steve T, LW and me. LW took a pull and immediately pace ramped
up. Bob L said I was holding her back a bit prophetic. Split agin with Steve
T, LW and I in one group and Doc, Bob L and Steve T in the LR group.
Our group did our own sag stop at c-store as there was no Texaco stop for me.
Second sag stop hooked up with lead group which was now down to 4 riders,
Ronnie, two from Roanoake Valley club and a guy from Spring Hope. This group
of seven stayed together until on a down hill LW was going so fast the plastic
cover on her helmet split and came off. I bridged up to Steve and he went back
to assist. I got caught in no man's land and rode solo the last half of the
ride.
Ronnie stays with the lead group I was next followed by Doc, then Steve and LW,
Bob L and Steve B came in shortly after .
Bob L and Steve B get the most sane rider award as they took a sane pace and
enjoyed a beautiful fall morning.
Great day to be on the bike.
2:00 Sunday OSB
