What an awesome day to be on the bike. The weather was perfect. We had a large group with some newer faces and welcomed back others that had not ridden with us in a while.

As for the attacks, I got concerned when Jim posted a "B/C" ride after NASCAR Friday. And then DC did his morning run...watch out. It was interesting that there were no real group pulls after the attacks started. Overall a very fun ride and a great workout.

Tomorrow will be an interesting ride...Snow???

Subject: [COWs] Sat ride report

A strong herd of 13, welcomed some of the pool boys, left DD into a S /SE wind, did the rosebud Ch route in reverse to take advantage of the wind. DC let everyone know he had run 12 miles in the morning, translation I will hammer. For the first 25 or so miles group stayed together good consistent tempo pace. Kim and little Wally represented well with strong pulls. At the turn on bridgersville Rd, the games began. Different riders took flyers, inspired by DC. A regroup in Elm City only to be split by an attack by DC, followed by Wally, then Lucas and I.
Strong push into the head wind down Lake Wilson Rd by everyone.
Relaxation and fellowship at DD at the conclusion.
Great day to be on the bike.
Belgian ride tomorrow 2:00 for anyone brave enough to show up.
Jim
