Well, I had a less exciting ride today. After starting my day at 4:30am. I
finally got to my bike at 4 this afternoon. Just did a quick solo 25 miles up
towards Tarboro and back to the West Edgecombe area. Then over to Temparence
Hall and back home. It was a great stress relief and greatly needed.

Sorry I missed yalls great ride today sounded fun.

Great afternoon to ride.

He sure did! And I was one of the ones dropped off the back! BTW I got a tan
today; about 4 inches around my wrist and about 8 inches starting at the bottom
of my thigh down to the top of my calf. Nice! Still, great day to be on a
bike. Thanks much for coming North to ride. kp

and I met at Red Oak Park to do the big Jim's ride. Sunny skies, cool N/NE
breeze just enough to be a nuisance. Kinnie needed to do an LSD ride, from my
running days that means long slow distance, not so with Kinnie. It means ride
so hard you hallucinate. First leg of the ride with the hills and the head
wind a little slow, second leg Kinnie drops the hammer and we do the 20 miles
in just under an hour and just over 2 hours for the first 40 miles. At Big
Jim's, Tim gets a big block brownie, these things are as big as a paver brick
and at least one and a half inches thick of moist gooey chocolate. After
everyone has some Tim has the equivalent of a church bake sale brownie left for
a post ride snack. Last leg everyone works hard and we finish up with 60 miles
at an18.5 pace.> Great day to be
