Missed my big ride over the weekend, so Kinnie gave me a chance to make up for it today. KP leaves from Red Oak, I from Nashville. We join forces then head for Bailey, Buckhorn, Nahunta, Pikeville, Faro, Eureka, Stantonsburg, Saratoga, Town Creek, Sharpsburg, West Mount, Oak Level, Nashville. Whew! I'm tired just reliving it! I ended up with 100.3 miles. KP is doing a few bonus miles, aiming for 120. She also towed me in for my last 5 miles. Her little 5 mile moderate pace intervals Rock! I don't wanna be there when this gets serious! Winds were brutal again today and we slugged out 50 miles of headwinds on the first leg. Awesome day out on the playground.
