Pre ride talk of tired legs recovery ride pace, enough sandbags to dam up the tar river. Head out for Cliftonville bend of the river airport route. Pick up Prafka at the Texaco. Wally leads out and pace starts off at recovery pace, at the cemetery Wally drops the hammer, I tell Bob that the recovery is now over , pace now jumps up to 19/22 into the wind.
