Its from Valle Crucis to Banner Elk. Its part one of my routes when I ride up here. I just noticed they all the painted arrows on some of the roads. 194 is closed near the top and you are detoured onto Pidgeon Roost (a steeper road). They are widening and repaving 194. Parts of it are great and others not so much. Good Luck, I'm heading out to ride
