I agree with you! However, I own an older version of this trainer and it has a nice spin the times I have used it. It equates to a "road-like" feel. It mostly sits in a corner and collects dust all year. It gets wiped off in the winter and used a handful of times. I'd be happy to let you give it a 'spin' if you are deciding on one....just let me know.
