Marian, Trey Thorne, Jeff Page and I went out for a 39mi ride with an average around 18.4.
We were supposed to only have a 35.7mi loop but missed a turn and added a few extra miles! Left from our house to 581 N then to Old Raleigh Rd, Lamm Rd, Radford Rd (missed this turn so continued on Boswellville Rd to Blalock Rd), Little Rock Church Rd, Upper Black Creek Church Rd, Harrell Store Rd, N Carolina 581 N, US-301 S, N Carolina 222 W, Beulahtown Rd, Rex-Turner Rd, N Carolina 42 E, N Carolina 581 N (back home). It was a great ride with little wind (if any)! Everyone took turns pulling and did great. Mostly uneventful until we hit N Carolina 222 where a dog darted out at us and tried to catch Marian's wheel. Also had to outrun another dog on Rex-Turner Rd shortly before turning onto 42. Think we upped our speed to about 22+.
