Sure enough my next pull is 2mph faster into a head wind. Cruise at 20/21 to hwy 97, turn on s e Halifax, to 301 and in through elm city. About a mile and half from Dunn's cross rd, Kim flats, farmer Jenkins walks up to visit and tells us about when he used to ride and John Marshbanks of John's bike shop (an infamous character) fixed his bikes. On we go just before lake Wilson, Kim flats again, (stolen fruit, karma can be a B). Calls 911 dad and gets a ride home. I slow pedal in enjoying the cool fall weather. Great day to be on the bike.
