Four CoWs left DD this afternoon for a moderately paced ride and picked up Mr. Prafka along the way. The group headed up 58 into a steady headwind. A right on Bend of the River to 97 did not relieve the strong wind and the group chugged along at an 18/19 pace. A right on 97 gave the first hint of a tailwind and the pace picked up slightly. On to Vickers behind the RM airport and the strong tailwind brought the pace to 22/23 and stayed that way to Elm City. It was a very nice ride in nearly perfect weather. 30 miles at a 20 mph pace.
