Kaiser and I met at DD for a short ride between rain showers. We took off up Nash with a goal of Bend of the River. We turned right on Pridgen and left on London Church where we began to feel the drizzle. The further up LCR, the heavier the rain got. At Steeplechase, the rain was heavy enough for us to reverse course and head back LCR. We stayed on LCR past Lake Wilson and turned on Corbett then right on Ward. We turned right on Tilghman where I dropped off and headed home. Kaiser continued up Tilghman with a goal of 20 miles at the finish. My totals were 18.6 miles with a 19.7 average. Thanks to Kaiser for the very strong pulls throughout the ride. Always fun to “steal” a ride on a day like today.
