I've updated mhash to 0.9.2.
Install it via http://cygwin.com/setup.exe.

The changes in this release are as follows:
- Added SNEFRU128, SNEFRU256. Reintroduced MD2.
  ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
- Fixes to .spec file and clean-ups of documentation
  (cpedersen[at]c-note.dk)
- Fixed typecasts, memory leaks and compiler warnings
  ([EMAIL PROTECTED])

cygwin package changes:
  All cygwin patches applied upstream.
  Minor build script improvements.
  Reverted the dll main hack.

Note that this update might fix the reported setup.exe crash during mhash installation. I have no idea (yet) why setup suddenly didn't like the previous package.

Project description:
The mhash library provides an easy way to access strong hashes such as MD5, SHA1 and other algorithms.
The mhash library provides the following features:
o Free software (GNU Lesser General Public License)
   o Reentrancy support
o Support for known strong algorithms
o Support for less-known algorithms such as GOST
o Should work on every ANSI C conforming platform

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions.
