rsync: updated, as of 2.5.6-2 upx: it *does* use "lseek" but I guess there's "not so easy" to find a 2Gb+ executable and moreover wanting to have it all in memory (as someone pointed out as a 'con' of upx-compressed exes) ucl: doesnt' seems to use any file management (it's a compression library) par: really doesn't need that tidy: not so usual to find 2Gb+ HTML pages to tidy up... and anyway it's released often so I guess I'll wait next release
(many could say: "so what"? well, a perfectly good message in the mailing list is both a reminder to you as it is to me.. moreover someone might have to say "hey Lapo, I *really* need a 64-bit UPX tomorrow!" ;-) )
