Not necessarily, it just means that I can't cut and paste between Windows

You must be reading my mind, though.  For gcc 3.4, I'd say definately yes
please.  For gcc 3.3.3-3, it's still up in the air.  I've yet to see a
confirmed issue there.

We are using custom built tools (gdb & gcc) to support DWARF 2, so adding
a custom binutils as a work around for this issue was trivial.

Thanks for asking.  Maybe Harold will find a solid example of a problem
between gcc-3.3.3 and binutils :shrug:.
