I'm not using any such (my college provides space for me for now), and I
may be restating the obvious, but I found quite a few links/reviews by
Googling for 'free web hosting space "1GB storage"'. In particular,
<http://www.free-webhosts.com/reviews/E2uHosting.php> looks promising
(there are gotchas, no doubt -- many services have unrealistic file size
limits). There are also plenty of paid options for about $5/month.

Limiting the storage query to 100MB provides even more options. Also,
just searching the <http://www.free-webhosts.com/> site gives a few
interesting matches, e.g. <http://www.free-webhosts.com/reviews/Roxr.php>.
