Well, it's already better than the existing rxvt in at least one way: Have you ever tried running "aafire -driver curses" under RXVT? Both in native and X mode, Cygwin's rvxt is horrendously slow. I've seen this with some other libaa-compiled apps as well--they'll tie up 100% of the CPU and get very little accomplished. gsw
