I'd like to put together Macaulay2 as a cygwin package. Macaulay2 is a software system devoted to supporting research in algebraic geometry and commutative algebra, whose development has been funded by the National Science Foundation. It would go in the Math section of your setup menu, and is similar in spirit to an existing cygwin group of packages called Singular.
