| Eric Blake; Cygwin user list: | > Please update Automake to the latest version with LZMA support. | This can't be done until LZMA support is upgraded first (trust me - I | installed automake 1.10.1 in my /usr/local, and had to first install | lzma-utils before I could use the dist-lzma feature of automake). | <http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2008-02/msg00243.html>
Eric, if possible, CC the apps list to notify the maintainers about the needs. Here is new build which integrates the Debian patches. Lzma now provides standard gzip/bzip2 alike command line interface. wget \ http://cygwin.cante.net/lzma/setup.hint \ http://cygwin.cante.net/lzma/lzma-4.43-2-src.tar.bz2 \ http://cygwin.cante.net/lzma/lzma-4.43-2.tar.bz2 P.s the changes to build process were substabtial, so a second opinion to test the build process would be welcomed: mkdir arc ; cd arc rm -f get.sh get.sh.sig wget http://cygwin.cante.net/arc/get.sh \ http://cygwin.cante.net/arc/get.sh.sig && gpg --verify get.sh.sig get.sh && sh get.sh Jari -- Welcome to FOSS revolution: we fix and modify until it shines
