/usr/bin/texi2html broken

Are you still the tetex package maintainer?  I found that
/usr/bin/texi2html contains the wrong perl interpreter path.  It
should be /usr/bin/perl rather than /usr/local/bin/perl.  This is in
tetex-beta-20001218-1.
