I built using cygport today and I'm delighted to say that it worked
perfectly. Please don't anyone waste too much time on this but I'd really
like to know why a 'normal' build didn't work. liblrdf was dependent upon
libraptor (which had already installed successfully) so - following my
usual startegy - I downloaded the source for liblrdf and performed
these steps:-

./configure
make
make check
make install

Everything gave the impression of working correctly but when I tried to
use the resulting liblrdf library, cygwin's linker couldn't find any of the
libraptor functionality.

If there's an obvious step that I did wrong, I'd be grateful if someone
could explain it.

Thanks,

John
