So I did that and replaced the missing dlls. Now when I run it I get this
error:
** (gedit:3320): WARNING **: Could not open X display
Cannot open display:
Run 'gedit --help' to see a full list of available command line options.
I've found several webpages
(here<http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2010/06/xhost-cannot-open-display/>,
for instance) that recommend either setting $DISPLAY=:0 or =:0.0 or =IP:0.0
but none of these work (possibly because I need to set $IP?). The same site
suggests using xhost, but when I do ("xhost +") I get this error:
xhost: unable to open display ""
Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!
