Hi, After upgrading Cygwin to the latest version (1.7.21), the Xfce Terminal (Terminal.exe) has stopped working.
The windows shows up with a Cygwin/X error message, stating "Failed to execute child. Failed to fork (Resource temporarily unavailable)." Please see the attached screenshot. It looks like the terminal can't load the shell: I can access the Preferences for instance, but can't type any command into the terminal itself. I tried restarting the X server, Windows itself and reinstalling Terminal, but to no avail. Maybe in the latest update the Cygwin devs have changed something on how X terminals interact with the shell? Is there anything I can do to get it to work again? Thanks! Best, -- Enrico Ferrero
