I have been using the given bat file to launch it. The line you refer to as stated in the MAGICXF.bat that launches MAGIC:
start XWin -fullscreen -depth 8 -emulate3buttons This launches its own window and you can tell it's 8-bit. I was wondering if I need more RAM on my comp to run it? I did have it up once and it was slow... I can't get it back up though.
