Can you send me the output of ipconfig?

please check if there is a registry key:
\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\Class\\Net\\0001

I guess the references are out of sync. I had this problem too and reinstalling
the network driver solved it.
