Apologies if this has been reported before, but there seems to be a basic problem with this version.
I've tried two download sites and in both cases the files are installed in the wrong directory - /etc/X11/X11 instead of /etc/X11. This caused some unpleasant symptoms which mostly went away if the files were moved back into /etc/X11. Unfortunately xterm still didn't work properly because the XTerm and XTerm-color files have gone missing from the app-defaults directory. I've reverted to 4.2.0-1 for the time being.
