Thae layout editor MAGIC, compiled with Cygwin 
(http://bach.ece.jhu.edu/~tim/programs/magic/windows/windows.html) and 
using OpenGL is totally slow (unusable) in -multiwindow mode, but o.k. 
in -rootless.
