Xnest and keyboard layout

Hello dear fellow mailing list subscribers,
keyboard layouts differ between host
X server and Xnest server (I am not
very familiar with what is called "
default English layout" but I think
it is what Xnest uses, so obviously
host Xserver does not use it ;-).
QUestion is: Where does Xnest
take it keyboard layout from?
Should be the same source that
caters also for host Xserver or
not?
